Choosing padel equipment

The right equipment depends on your level, playing style and how often you play. Beginners usually benefit from an easier-to-handle racket, while regular players may prefer a more specific model based on control, power or comfort.

How do I choose a padel racket?

Consider your playing level, racket shape, weight and feel. For beginners, a comfortable and easy-to-control racket is usually the best choice.

Do I need special shoes for padel?

Yes. Padel includes a lot of lateral movement, braking and quick direction changes, so suitable padel shoes are very important on court.

When should I change padel balls?

Change padel balls when the bounce becomes low, the ball loses liveliness or the playing feel is no longer consistent.

Accessories and care

Grips, overgrips, racket protectors and other accessories help keep your equipment in better condition and make playing more comfortable.

When should I change my overgrip?

Change your overgrip when it becomes slippery, worn or no longer absorbs sweat as well as before.

Why do I need a racket protector?

A racket protector helps reduce frame scratches and everyday wear, especially if you often play close to the glass or fence.
